ALBERT SHAMAEV
Until I was 23, I lived within boundaries set by schools, expectations, and systems I didn’t choose. But something inside me refused to fit into boxes. It searched, questioned, and burned. Art wasn't a planned path. It hit me like a wave. One flight, one camera, one instinct, and I knew my view of the world would never be the same. What started as curiosity became a necessity. What began as a creative urge became a means of survival.
Years ago, I survived a near-fatal stabbing. The trauma that followed tried to hold me back, body, mind, and soul.
But creating visually gave me freedom. Filming, photographing, editing, and painting each opened a door inside me. Each frame, each stroke, became a reflection. A release. A way forward.
Through motion and stillness, I found a language without words and the freedom to rebuild myself, piece by piece. Over the years, the same vision has led me to work with luxury brands, fashion companies, digital creators, musicians, and DJs, bringing depth, elegance, and edge to their stories.
Whether in a polished campaign or an improvised street shoot, I approach every project with the same mindset:
Honest feeling over empty flash. Everything you see here was built from what
I had a raw eye, a restless spirit, and a refusal to give up. Not after pain. Not after fear. Not after falling again and again. I don’t create to impress.
I create to feel, to connect, to transform. I believe in human connection over business, emotion over perfection, and meaning over aesthetics. This is not a portfolio. It’s the living archive of how I see and how I survive. If something here resonates with you, you’re not just a visitor. You’re part of it now.
